Year 5 Cross Country @ Prince Henry's

On Thursday morning Mrs Thornton and Mrs Cooke took the Year 5 cross country team to Prince Henry's to compete with Year 5's from the South Worcestershire District.

The team who qualified from our House cross country competition were: Leo, Alistair, Mathew, Emeilia, Maddie, Maisie and Honey.

They represented us all brilliantly and showed lots of resilience and determination to do well. Two of the runners, Maddie and Leo, both came in third place and will go onto represent South Worcestershire in the County competition after half term. How impressive to have 2 representatives for the county from our small school. The other runners were equally as impressive, we had 3 top 20 finishers and 2 finished in the top 40 out of a total of 80 runners. 

We are extremely proud.
