Visit from Harriett Baldwin

Our Envirominnies Eco Team were delighted by a visit from our local MP, Mrs Harriett Baldwin.  They were able to voice their concerns about the future of the planet, and did so with great eloquence.  Concerns raised were:-

• Overuse of Palm Oil
• Sustainability of trees
• Pollution and CO2 emissions
• Responsibility of manufacturers to ensure that plastic drinks bottles are properly recycled
• Litter in the sea and space
• Oil spills and pollution affecting wildlife
• Plastic entering the food chain, through fish
• Icebergs melting, the sea rising affecting land and crops
• Mass migrations with land becoming uninhabitable
• Animals and plants becoming extinct
