Reading Champions - Half Term Reading Challenge
Our Reading Champions have been busy meeting each Thursday to prepare some reading activities for the whole school. This afternoon, we have sent home a pack for everyone which includes a grid of activities for you to have a go at over the next two weeks. These activities are designed to encourage you to read new books from different authors, to explore both fiction and non fiction books and, most importantly, have fun! We have given everybody a plastic wallet to put in any examples of the activities you have completed and we will be taking a look at these in two weeks time so that we can award some prizes for amazing efforts. We are really looking forward to seeing all of your reading activities.
Some of our members are also busy creating recommendations books for KS1 and KS2 as well as planning a book swap for next half term. Keep an eye on our page to find out more.
