Year 3 and 4 Tri-Golf Festival

This week we were lucky enough to go to the Evesham District Tri-Golf Festival at The De Montfort school in Evesham. It was run by young leaders from St Egwins who were all in charge of hosting different stations with a variety of golfing activities. We earnt points from each activity, where  the school with the most points won overall on the day.

Most of our team of 10 year 3 and 4 children had never played golf before so it was a totally new experience for them! They got better and better as the morning went on and by the last couple of rounds we were scoring the highest scores of the day for those events.

Everyone learnt some new skills and we are keen to do some more golf in school as it was such fun.

Well done to all the children for their excellent team spirit, supporting and encouraging each other throughout the event and for their determination to improve their performance as the morning went on!
