Willow - Week 7

This week in our Art lesson, the children made a dragon eye using clay. They added scales and extra details using different tools. Take a look at the incredible photos! Can you spot your dragon eye? 

Our Science focus this week has been all about fossils. The children learnt how fossils are formed and they created their own cartoon strip to show the different stages. Last week, we learned how different rocks are made and the children created a fact file to display in the classroom. 

In our Writing and Reading lessons, the children explored how the opinions of the townsfolk changed towards Arthur in the story of Arthur and the Golden Rope. The children will create a character description, thinking about Arthur's appearance, characteristics and talents after half-term.
