Sports Day 2022
We were very lucky to hold our whole school Sports Day this week, the first time in 3 years!
The weather was very kind to us and we didn’t overheat or get rained on. It was a very enjoyable day with all the children taking part as individuals and within their house groups.
In the morning they were competing for the house and relay cups with scores from the round robin events and sprint races all counting towards the overall total. Ruby House had a very successful morning winning both cups although it was a very close competition with the other houses not far behind. After a lovely family picnic, the school split into two for the afternoon activities, with the older children competing in their field events and the younger classes doing their fun races on the track.
No school records were broken this year but some were very close!
