Oak Week Beginning 18th December 2023

Our last Blog of 2023 - it's been a long old term!!

We have had lots of festive fun this week, with Party Day on Tuesday and on Wednesday it was Christmas Jumper Day with a very, very special visitor! We even squeezed in some Christmassy art and festive origami to produce some beautiful cards. There was also time to chill out with their friends in front of a film and have many 'sing alongs' to their favourite Christmas tunes as a reward for all their hard work and efforts in this 'woolly mammoth' of a term! Our gallery is full of pictures of us all enjoying these activities, getting us in the mood for Christmas!

On Thursday we gathered together for one of the best assemblies of the year - our Carols Around the Tree celebration. We love hearing the children singing traditional Carols, and the youngest children sing songs from their nativity performance, but the highlight has to be the Key Stage 2 rendition of The 12 Days of Christmas (of course!) They have absolutely loved practising this for you all to see and sang with plenty of gusto and frivolity! It was not to be missed!

All that is left to say is that we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope the New Year ahead is filled with plenty of opportunities for wonderful memories to be made. Thank you all for your ongoing support, we will see you next year!
