Butterflies

We had a butterfly themed forest school session. We learnt about the butterfly life cycle and its anatomy. We worked in groups to make a butterfly picture made of natural materials, with 4 wings, 6 legs, 2 antennae, head, abdomen and thorax.
Afterwards, we practised whistling loudly using grass and all did it together to make an orchestra of sound!
