Bug Hunting in the Wood

Our Year 1 children had great fun bug hunting this week.  They found out about the life cycle of a ladybird.  Many of them were particularly surprised by how different the larva is to the adult.

Afterwards, the children enjoyed den making, tyre swinging, mud making and playing some very imaginative games.  The weather was beautiful and great fun was had by all!
