Cricket Engagement Day

This week we were lucky enough to have a professional  coach from Worcester Cricket Club come and spend a day with us, working with each class to learn some new skills and introduce the game of cricket to those who have never played before. 

The aim of the day was to inspire our children to take up cricket at their local cricket club through the All stars (5-8 year olds) and Dynamos (8-11 year olds) programmes.  Ashton Cricket Club run these programmes and would really welcome our children to go and join them whatever their age or ability. Details are on the flyer sent home with the children, or please feel free to pop into the school office for more information.

It was a really fun filled day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, the coach was really impressed with our cricket skills and enthusiasm!

There is a possibility for the coach to come and run an after school club for the next half term if we get enough interest, details will be sent next week.
