Harry and the bucketful of dinosaurs go to school

Our Acorn children have had an amazing week.  We have welcomed back children, who have grown in height and confidence over the summer, and met our new children who have all settled in brilliantly.  We are very proud of them all and Mrs Clayton, Miss Bevan and myself are all very excited about the year ahead.

We have started the morning by sharing news and looking at Learning Journey Books.  We have got to know each other, played, explored, sang, drawn and generally had fun.  This morning, we looked around the school garden and found some courgettes, tomatoes and cucumbers.  We picked them and then looked, touched, smelled and (some of us) tasted them!  Overall, it has been a very good start to the school year.
