Shaping Bright Futures Together

Tree

'Seasons come, seasons go' is the subtitle of this week's book and how apt it has been!  At last we have sunshine and we have made the most of it, spending lots of time outside.  This, fortunately, coincides with our new look Quiet Area, which now has a lovely canopy and log seating area.  We would like to thank the Smith family for all of their hard work revamping the area and to Mr. Gardiner for constructing our mud kitchen house.

We have had great fun doing our 30 Days Wild challenges.  We have tapped out rhythms on the ground with drumsticks, stepped in water and made footprints around the playground, drawn a tree, used natural resources to make a butterfly and been cloud spotting. We have also started work on our version of the Tree book, which focuses on the change in seasons.  We will be working on this over the coming few weeks.
